Questa pianta considerata un fossile vivente in quanto è l'unica specie rimasta delle Ginkgoaceae, famiglia molto rappresentata nel Mesozoico. È un albero longevo dal fusto eretto, con foglie caduche dalla singolare forma a ventaglio.
Resistente alle avversità climatiche ed immune ai parassiti, il Giappone l'ha vista fiorire ad Hiroshima la primavera successiva al bombardamento nucleare, la Ginkgo Biloba arriva a campare 1000 anni. This tree show is a Ginkgo Biloba, I photographed it at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence in the autumn. This plant is considered a living fossil as it is the only remaining species of the Ginkgoaceae, a family very represented in the Mesozoic era. It is a long-lived tree with an erect stem, with deciduous fan-shaped leaves.
Resistant to climatic adversities and immune to parasites, Japan saw it bloom in Hiroshima the spring after the nuclear bombing, the Ginkgo Biloba reaches 1000 years. When even in autumn, it is suddenly spring. |
