Summary edit

Description
English: Our last environmental science field trip brought us to Glendalough, where part of our assignments was to identify birds by sight and song. By using mist nets, we were able to assess various characteristics such as a birds' sex, wing span and weight in a way that was safe for the birds. Pictured above is a one of the Blue Tits that we caught, which are common residents in Ireland.
