Summary edit

Description
English: "LONDON, Feb. 11 -- With the utmost secrecy British naval authorities are testing a remarkable submarine craft. It is called a "globular submarine" and is said to be very speedy and compact.
It consists of two concentric spheres. The inner is weighted to remain stationary, while the outer revolves on an axis and a series of flanges act as a propeller. The motion is in the inner sphere, with the dynamite guns, air supply, crew, etc. The engine has a reversing gear and rotates the outer sphere. The flanges strike the water and thus propel the machine. It resembles a huge turbine and it seems to be rolling itself over and over in the water. It revolves on top of the water or underneath, at the pleasure of the crew."11
