Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931), Autoritratto come gladiatore (reziario), al teatro greco di Taormina. Numero di catalogo: 0108 B. Cm 12x17. L'immagine è stata prodotta entro il 1893, quando uno scatto che include Gloeden nel medesimo travestimento fu pubblicato nell'articolo di Ludwig Pietsch (1824-1911), Kunst und Photographie, sulla "Velhagen & Klasings Monatshefte", 1893-94, p. 393. Lo scatto appartiene a un servizio al quale partecipò anche l'amico fotografo Giovanni Crupi, che nel suo catalogo ha una foto identica a un'altra di Gloeden, riproponendo addirittura lo stesso numero di catalogo di Gloeden.
