English: Down freight at Naas Crossing between Tuffley Junction and Haresfield. View northwards, towards Gloucester: ex-Midland Birmingham - Bristol and GW Cheltenham - Swindon main lines. (See other photographs on this four-track stretch of about five miles). This Down (southbound) Class D freight is running on the 'Up' GW lines and will have to be crossed over at Standish Junction. The locomotive is LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 No. 44269 (built 1926, withdrawn 12/65). |
