Summary edit

Description The males are handsome fellers in almost any animal species. Here a ram (male goat) kicks up dust as he was, literally, acting the goat, mock charging and generally running around trying to impress the girls, who were paying him little attention and were headed to the food cart. Goats have an intensely inquisitive and intelligent nature; they will explore anything new or unfamiliar in their surroundings. They do so primarily with their prehensile upper lip and tongue. This is why they investigate items such as buttons, camera cases or clothing (and many other things besides) by nibbling at them, occasionally even eating them. (Al Ain, UAE, Dec. 2012)
