Summary edit
DescriptionGoddess Kali in Kolkata.jpg |
English: Kali or Kalika is a major Hindu goddess associated with time, change, creation, power, destruction and death in Shaktism. Kali is the first of the ten Mahavidyas in the Hindu tantric tradition. A celebration of Kali Puja in Kolkata is held in a large cremation ground as Kali is believed to dwell in cremation grounds. She is worshipped at night with tantric rites and mantras.
