Deutsch: Göttingen, Am Leinekanal, Blick nach Süden. Im Vordergrund das Michaelishaus (links), die Straße "Am Leinekanal", der Leinekanal und das Grätzelhaus (rechts). dahinter von links kommend die Prinzenstraße und die Brücke über den Leinekanal in die Allee (heute Goetheallee), hinten die Paulinerkirche mit dem langen schmalen Flügel, der als "Das Museum" bezeichnet ist, die Straße "Papendiek", ein (noch heute erhaltener) Gartenpavillon im Garten von Christian Gottlob Heyne und die Rückseiten der Häuser der Neustadt.
