Description
Deutsch: Aussicht von der Allée in die Prinzenstrase. Von der heutigen Goetheallee aus nach Osten geblickt, vorne der Leinekanal, links dahinter das Michaelishaus, hier als Expraefectur bezeichnet, da es im Königreich Westfalen bis 1813 als Sitz der Präfektur des Leine-Départements diente. An der Prinzenstraße mit hochgelegenem Eingang das Prinzenhaus, rechts daneben zwischen den Durchgängen zum Hof der Universität das Konzilienhaus, an dessen Stelle 1878–82 die dritte Erweiterung der Universitätsbibliothek errichtet wurde.
