Summary edit

Description
English: Goit Side Walk, Kirkstall. This path is on the north side of the goit (or mill stream) which fed water from the River Aire from a sluice by the weir 164580 to Burley Mills (now an office building, Waterside Court). An aerial picture from 1950 on Leodis shows that the goit used to carry a lot more water http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?resourceIdentifier=2572&DISPLAY=FULL - this picture was taken near the bottom of the aerial photo.
