English:
Entablature Apostle sandstone statues of Sts. Peter and Paul's Cathedral Basilica in Gosztonyi Lapidarium. Made by Mihály Bartalits in between 1846 and 1854 (1855?). Ordered by the cathedral cannon Bódog Rhímer in 1845. The damaged statues removed to the courtyard of the seminary,-now Saint Maurus School Center,-in between 1882 and 1891 (1884?). The condition of the sandstone statues continued to deteriorate. In 2017 the statues moved to the twelve arcades Gosztonyi Lapidarium - Dóm Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborhood, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.

Az 1930-as években emelt Gosztonyi-kőtár épülete benne a Szent Péter- és Szent Pál-székesegyház déli oldalát díszítő, Bartalis Mihály által készített, 1854-ben felszentelt apostolszobrok első változatai. A Püspöki palotától északra. 1845-ben Rhímer Bódog őrkanonok Bartalits/Bartalis Mihály kalocsai de Pécsen élő szobrászt bízta meg a apostolszobrok elkészítésével. 1846-ra készültek el a faszobor minták, majd kilenc tév alatt a a székesegyházi uradalom budafai bányájából származó sárgás homokkőből készült négy méteres végső változatuk. A szobrokat olajos festékkel kenték be aminek következtében a szobrokban lévő víz nem tudott elpárologni megfagyott és belülről repesztette szét a kőszobrokat. Bartalits/Bartalis aranyozott bádogból készítette el a szentszobrok atributumait, ezek pusztultak el a leghamarabb rendszeresen újakkal kellett pótolni. A székesegyház 1882-1891 közötti átépítése idején (1884-85?) a szobrokat leemelték a párkányról és a mai Szent Mór Iskolaközpont akkoriban szeminárium udvarában helyezték el ahol szobrok állapota tovább romlott. 2017-ben kerültek a 12 árkádíves 1930-as években emelt Gosztonyi-kőtár épületébe.
