the galleries.

the four first interiors show the galleries from the other side.

you will notice that one column in photo has a round section, one is an octagon and another has a free form related to the overall geometry of the building. imagine drawing those three columns in the same plan. I cannot right now think of a single architect who wouldn't try to establish some kind of relationship, geometrically, between the three.

the apparent freedom of böhm is perplexing.
