English: The old Gotthard rail tunnel, built from 1872 to 1882, is not only a dark tube. It's a historical monument that is still largely unexploited photographically. That's no wonder, because the access is possible only by a restricted group of people under special precautions. This series of photos shows the tunnel and the work of the linesmen from the middle up to Göschenen. In this part there are also some interesting things to discover which only a few people had known until now. It begins again at Km 7.400, at the rooms called as 'Hotel 7.400'. I have already shown it in the series of <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/kecko/22033656528/">Gotthard Inside I</a>.
