Deutsch: Der Grabsteinmit dem Sowjetstern und Hammer und Sichel befindet sich auf dem Nordfriedhof in Leipzig. Die Inschrift lautet: "Dem revolutionären Kämpfer Max Haferkorn / erschossen am 24.8.1924 / KPD" Im Internet findet sich folgende Erklärung: "Der Jungkommunist arbeitete damals bei der Straßenbahn als Schlosser und wurde 1924 Zufallsopfer bei einem Protest in der Dresdner Straße. Er wurde von der Polizei erschossen."[1] Nach ihm wurde 1950 die Haferkornstraße in Leipzig-Eutritzsch benannt.[2]
