English: Grandview Point -- Canyonlands National Park, USA -- 2010 August
This is a panoramic stitch of an initial 119 images collected near the Grandview Point parking lot. The source images were taken with a 300mm lens, sampling on a grid about 20 frames horizontally and 6 vertically. Stitching was done in Photoshop CS5. Final product image was roughly 70k x 15k pixels (~1 gigapixel). This was slightly cropped, and then reduced to the current size to allow for a reliable JPEG rendering, as well as to fit with current 100MB upload limit on Wikimedia Commons. |
