Title
English: Grand Trunk Pacific Dock fire damage, July 30, 1914
Description
English: A spectacular fire broke out at Seattle's Grand Trunk Pacific Dock on July 30, 1914. By the time the blaze was put out, the dock was destroyed. Losses included stored cargoes and office contents. The city's waterfront firehouse, a fire truck, and two nearby docks were also damaged.

In this photo, two men view the ruins of the Grand Trunk Pacific Dock from a rowboat. People working in Smith Tower (background) would have had quite a view of the fire.
