English: Grassy slopes above the river Wye One of our favourite Wye valley picnic spots away from the crowds. The daffodils are past their best and the field is resting before the sheep return. The track of the old Wye valley railway line can be seen at the bottom of the hill. The limestone crags behind the bend in the river are a well known peregrine falcon nesting site. |
