Description
English: A grave from the Bronze Age (in Finnish: pronssikausi) at Meilahti, Helsinki, Finland. The grave is located on a seaside rock, and it is approx. 4000 years old (i.e. from 2000 B.C.). Burned bones were found in the grave. In Helsinki, some items has been found from the Corded Ware Culture (approx. 2500 - 2000 years B.C.), and the oldest findings of mankind after the last Ice Age at the Helsinki area are located to 6000 years B.C. at the river valley of Keravanjoki.
