| Description |
English: Grease holes Found on the back side of Ebor Mill are these platforms. These were used for access to the end of the belt drive shafts which run the full length of the mill on each floor. These shaft ends had to be greased every week and the only access to them was from these platforms. These shafts are long gone now but you can still see the square openings where they used to sit. |
