The original description reads:
"Great Britain's King and Queen

"This picture was taken at the wedding of the Kaiser's only daughter, Princess Victoria Louise, to Prince Ernest of Cumberland. The King, in honor of the occasion, is dressed in the uniform of a German cuirassier. The Queen's dress is of cloth of gold with a long train. Her majesty wore a diamond tiara and ropes of magnificent diamonds round the neck, with diamond pendant composed of two enormous stones."
