English: Green, Hockley Golf Club Hockley Golf Club is on Twyford Down, to the south of the M3 motorway cutting. The underlying chalk soil means that it drains very freely - good for playing in all weathers, but presumably means more irrigation is needed in the drier seasons. This view is from the footpath that passes through the course from the north. |
