English: The first-ever dry zone botanical garden in Sri Lanka at Mirijjawila in Hambantota has gained popularity among environmentalists, botanists, sight-seers, schoolchildren and others from various destinations around the world. It consists of herbal plants and other trees grown in the dry zone, a butterfly garden, plant nursery, student’s park, plant conservation unit, flower garden, and ornamental bushes.
