English: Grey day on the Arran Moors The picture was taken just east of the summit of Cnoc a'Choire Mhoir, looking down to the confluence of the Auchencar Burn and Allt a'Ghlor. The square is deer forest, very boggy tussocky grass, sphagnum, reeds, myrtle and bracken (though they have been spraying the last named). Beinn Lochain, whose summit is just outside the square, is in the distance. |
