Description
English: Grissom Hill, seen approximately 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) from MER Spirit's landing site, Columbia Memorial Station. Image taken from Spirit's PanCam looking west. Feature was named for Gus Grissom, who perished in the Apollo 1 fire. Other hills in the vicinity were named for fellow Apollo 1 astronauts White and Chaffee.
