Description
English: Image associated with the book 'The Grodyński Brigade' written by Andrzej Grodyński, son of Stanisław and grandson of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz Grodyński. The younger brother of the author, Marjan, served on the Polish Navy submarine ORP Sokół (pl) (N97 - featured in this photograph with Nazi and Turkish flags while stationed at the port of Beirut) which attacked German shipping in the Mediterranean during WWII.
