Summary
editDescriptionGrosmont Junction 2009 - geograph.org.uk - 1504838.jpg |
English: Grosmont Junction 2009. Compare this with the similar view taken by Dr Neil Clifton in 1979 560869. The Network Rail Esk Valley line from Whitby runs up the hill behind the coaches then to the left of the control boxes. The two tracks to the right run into the North Yorkshire Moor Railway at Grosmont station. Through running of steam trains from Pickering to Whitby on the NYMR and the Network Rail Esk Valley line is now a regular occurrence. |
