Description
English: A Soviet Tupolev Tu-95 "Bear" long-range reconnaissance aircraft is escorted by a U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A-95-GR Tomcat (BuNo 160382) of Fighter Squadron 84 (VF-84) "Jolly Rogers" during NATO Exercise Teamwork 80, September 1980. VF-84 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) for the NATO Exercise Teamwork 80 from 29 August to 17 October 1980.
