English: Inauguration ceremony of Gov. Samuel W. King, Iolani Palace. Oath of office administered by Judge Philip A. Rice. Samuel Wilder King (1866-1959) served as governor of the Territory of Hawaii from Feb. 28, 1953 to July 31, 1957. He was appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
