Description

Near the banks of the river Sutlej, it is the holy place where many Sikhs take the ashes of their dead loved ones to be immersed in the Sutlej river.

It is important to Sikh history because Guru Hargobind, Guru Har Rai were cremated here. Guru Harkrishan cremation was in Delhi but his ashes were immersed in the river here.
