English: Gwastad Ffynnon-deg with the upper slopes of Elidir Fach in the background Gwastad Ffynnon-deg (fair-well flat) is a wide undulating shelf leading to the foot of the upper slopes of Elidir Fach. The upper slopes of the mountain catches the sun. At the height of the religious fervour of the 1904-05 religious revival the entire 3000-plus workforce of Dinorwig Quarry left their work and held a day-long prayer meeting here. |
