English: Mátra Museum, former Orczy Palace, Gyöngyös, Hungary. The originally Baroque building was rebuilt in Neoclassical style in 1826, according to the plans by Lőrincz Zofahl, the family architect of the noble Orczys. It was fully restored in 2004-2006 by Grafit 37 Építész Iroda (Mrs Tamás Kelemen, László Eperjesi and Zsolt Kurta leading architects). The project became Europa Nostra-award in 2009.
Magyar: Mátra Múzeum, korábban Orczy-kastély, Gyöngyös. Az eredetileg barokk, 18. századi épületet 1826-ban klasszicista stílusban építette át Zofahl Lőrinc, az Orczyak családi építésze. Az 1937-ben a város tulajdonába került épületet 2004-2006 között teljesen helyreállították a Grafit 37 Építész Iroda tervei alapján, Kelemen Tamásné, Eperjesi László és Kurta Zsolt vezetésével. A helyreállítást 2009-ben Europa Nostra-díjjal ismerték el. |
