Español: "Siempre he tenido por probada convicción, que la Patria nació en Dolores, pero creció y se consolidó en el Sur. A doscientos años, nos reunimos aquí, en Chilpancingo, capital histórica de los Mexicanos, al interior de esta Catedral de Santa María de la Asunción, en donde se formó, una nueva Nación, por un grupo de Insurgentes, encabezados por el Generalísimo José María Morelos y Pavón". Inicio del mensaje del Diputado Héctor Astudillo Flores, Presidente de la Comisión Especial para la Conmemoración del Bicentenario del Primer Congreso de Anáhuac, durante la Sesión Solemne de la LX Legislatura, el 13 de septiembre de 2013.
