English: Reproduction of a Hawaii Wartime Primary Route shield based off a 1944 photograph and the 1926 U.S. Highway shield. These routes were set up for strategic use in 1941 by the U.S. Military. Uses the FHWA 1926 fonts (not publicly available). (United States law does not permit the copyrighting of typeface designs, and the fonts are meant to be copies of a U.S. Government-produced work.) |
