Deutsch: An der Gartenfront ihrer Ausstellungsräume im Flügel des Patrizierhauses Königstraße 9hat sich die Overbeck-Gesellschaft ein Lesezimmer eingerichtet. Die aus dem Rokokozeitalter stammende Bemalung der Wände mit heroischen und idyllischen Landschaften erhöhte den Reiz des Raumes beträchtlich, der wie geschaffen ist, fern dem Getriebe der Welt wie auf einer zeitlosen Insel der Freiheiten der Kunst nachzugehen. |
