Description
English: Royal Navy type 42 destroyer HMS Edinburgh is pictured during a pre-wetting exercise.

This system is designed to increase the Ship's survivability from chemical or biological attack by washing-off any agents which laid on the Ship. The crew inside are kept safe by a positive-pressure atmospheric 'citadel', and by wearing personal respirators.
