| Description |
English: Hale Purlieu A small area of the New Forest owned by the National Trust. This area of heather has been cut a few years ago so is still growing back. Even with the grazing the heath has to be managed to keep the heather. Burning works very well but hard in such a popular area for walkers so many areas are cut. |
