Summary edit

Description
English: The Hamilton Building in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood. Built in 1907 by prominent local landowner and road builder Marcus L. Hamilton as an annex to the 1903 Hamilton Hall which stood on the lot to the north until 1972. The storefront on the right was originally home to the Citizen's Bank of Georgetown. Built of concrete with a brick veneer, the building's current facade is a reconstruction of one that was once a bit more ornate with terracotta quoins but had succumbed to deterioration after the loss of the original galvanized cornice.
