Description
English: Illustration of a hanging log filled with plants. The 'log' is made from tin cans, cut along the center, joined together then covered with bark. The middle can then be filled with soil and planted. More instructions can be found on page 421 of Henry B. Scammell's 1897 handbook Cyclopedia of Valuable Receipts, a guide to all and sundry with 2000 illustrations.
