Object history Private collection, Italy.
Notes a scene from Ariost´s "Orlando Furioso". It is based on an etching by Egidius Sadeler after a painting by Carlo Caliari (Barbieri collection, Padua). The painting is probably by an artist influenced by Hans Rottenhammer.
