Description
English: Hario-Radio Towers are in the group of Radio Transmission facilities constructed by Imperial Japanese Navy in 1922. Three towers, 136m tall reinforced concrete buildings, are said to have been constructed with state of the art technology in those days. It took 4 years and cost 1.55 million yen, equivalent to 25 billion yen now, to complete these facilities. They are one of the most valuable modernization heritages in Japan, and designated as National Important Cultural Property. The spectacular view of 3 towers is really tremendous! Let’s visit and feel it. Address: 382 Naka-machi, Hario, Sasebo
