Description
English: Harpers Ferry Armory gunsmith shop had machines for production of the lock, the stock and the barrel. The machines are from 1850's and are all powered by water. The power is transmitted to the machine by a set of pulleys and leather belts. This machine is a Rifling machine used for cutting groves into inside of a gun barrel which made rifle bullet spin and have greater accuracy.
