The circular graves belong to the "Round Grave" culture, which corresponds roughly to the Late Archaic (c. 3000-1000 B.C.) and Woodland (c. 1000 B.C. - 1000 A.D.) periods, whereas the rectangular graves belong to the Cherokee. |
