Description

Korean musician, Seok Joon Keun(Harry Keun), studied horn performance at Seoul National University and Korea National University in Korea and at Queens College in New York. He was the Principal Horn with the Korean Symphony Orchestra from 2009 to 2011, and the youngest member ever to be accepted into the Orchestra. A winner of multiple music competitions, Mr. Keun was also Principal Horn with the Chung-Ju Philharmonic Orchestra and the Gua-Cheon Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea. In 2010, he performed with the Korean Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in New York. 열정적이고 따뜻한 음색을 가진 호르니스트 권석준은 서울예술고등학교와 서울 대학교를 졸업하고 한국 예술종합학교 솔리스트 과정 중 CUNY 퀸즈컬리지 대학원 과정으로 유학하여 2012 퀸즈컬리지 대학원을 졸업하였다. 한국에서 2009-2011코리안 심포니 오케스트라 최연소 호른 수석, 2011년 -2012년 UN 필하모닉 오케스트라 창단 멤버 겸 단무장 및 호른 수석 그리고 UN 필하모닉 청소년 오케스트라 부 지휘자를 역임하였고 2007-2009년 청주 시립 오케스트라 호른 수석, 2006-2008년 과천 시립 오케스트라 수석 단원으로 프로페셔널 오케스트라 연주자로 서 입지를 다졌다.

예원예고 공로상 서울예고 공로상에 이어 금호 영 아티스트에 선정되었으며 여러 유명 오케스트라와 협연함으로 솔리스트의 반열에 올랐다. 2002 국민일보 콩쿨 44회 동아콩쿨, 2005년 해외파견콩쿨 등 각종콩쿠르에서 우승하였으며 2010년 ARD International Music Competition in München, Germany 본선진출, 2013년 Michigan William C. Byrd Young Artist Competition 파이널리스트로서 해외에서도 부각을 나타내며 발전하고 있다. 2011년 9월 3일 서울 영산양재홀에서 1st Solo Recital 그리고2013년 03월 18 2nd Solo Recital 를 뉴욕 LeFrak Concert Hall 에서 가졌다. 미국 최고의 호르니스트 David Jolley 는 그를 “ Who is one of the most talented young hornists and musicians I have ever worked with “라며 지원하고있다.
