Norsk bokmål: Haugesund rådhus, et nyklassisistisk monumentalbygg tegna av arkitektene Herman Munthe-Kaas og Gudolf Blakstad og oppført 1923–1931, med Rådhusplassen og Rådhusparken i Haugesund sentrum. Mellom plassen og rådhuset går Skåregata, langs Knut Knutsen OAS gate på nordsida ligger blant annet Tinghuset (Haugaland tingrett) og Festiviteten (Haugesund konserthus), på sørsida av plassen ligger Litlasundgata med bygget til Høgskulen på Vestlandet, på vestsida går Haraldsgata. De to ørnefigurene foran rådhusets dobbeltsøyle- og portalfasade er av Dye Vaa, fontena på Rådhusplassen av Nils Erik Flakstad, og fontena «Lekende sjøløver» i parken er av Skule Waksvik. Skulpturene ellers i parken er blant andre «Sittende kvinne» av Arne Durban og portrettbyster av Knut og Elisabeth Knutsen utført av Ottar Espeland. På høyden mellom rådhuset og høgskolen er «De fire vinder» av Nina Sundbye og «Minneskulpturen for 22. juli» av Nico Widerberg. Amanda-skulpturen foran Festiviteten er av Kristian Kvakland, «Spillende faun» av Fritz Røed, og relieffene ved inngangspartiet til høgskolebygget er av Kjersti Wekselsen Goksøyr. The Norwegian Copyright in Literary, Scientific and Artistic Works Act, in section 31 says that works of art and photographic works may be depicted when they are permanently mounted or located in or near a public place or a publicly accessible passage through some place. However, this does not apply when the work is clearly the main subject and the reproduction is exploited commercially. The same section says buildings may be freely depicted. Since Commons requires that all images be free for commercial use, buildings are the only copyrighted works in Norway for which the FOP exception applies for Commons.
