Description
English: Havant Railway Station Ptaform 2 (up) wide access barrier with QR-code ticket reader add-on. South West Railway operate the station and the clever barriers are designed to open for their off-peaks and not the Southern Railway off-peaks which start earlier. The QR-code readers which are designed for paper tickets (and mobiles) appear not to be fitted to every station across the region, seemed to have operational difficulties, and caused chaos at Victoria where staff were forced to open the barriers and let people out tickets unchecked.
