| Description |
English: Heading to the bog / mountain, Errigle I can recollect my late Uncle Dennis Allen and my self coming up this laneway in the mid 1950's with the wee fergie and a cart with a ruck of hay winched on. Sometimes I got to sit up on the top of the ruck and got a great view as we motored along. It was a bit risky coming up the hill, but I never fell off. The hay was being transported to the Haggard where it was built into a very large pike. |
