DescriptionHeadless White Horse^ - geograph.org.uk - 1206161.jpg |
English: Headless White Horse! From this view the head cannot be seen. This is the start of a walk around the figure which is not cut into chalk but painted on the hillside. I have used the classification "chalk hill figure" as there isn't a classification for "hill figure".
The Kilburn White Horse can be seen from the tower of York Minster and on a clear day as far away as Otley Chevin. |
