English: Heathland's edge at dusk, near Otterwood Gate, New Forest. This power line runs along the southern edge of Beaulieu Heath - a broad swathe has been cut through the trees (mainly silver birch) to prevent the power lines getting snagged by branches. A crescent moon is just visible up in the sky, its illuminated side showing the direction of the setting sun, hidden behind clouds. Compare with this view taken looking in the opposite direction, earlier on in the year: 394154. |
