Summary edit

Description
English: An anisohedral tiling based on a tile published in 1935 by Heinrich Heesch. There are symmetries of the tiling that take any blue or green tile to any other blue or green tile, or that take any red or yellow tile to any other red or yellow tile. However, there is no symmetry that takes blue to red. As Heesch proved, every tiling of the plane by copies of this tile has at least two copies that are not symmetric to each other. See: Heesch, H. (1935). "Aufbau der Ebene aus kongruenten Bereichen" (transcription by Berglund, with English translation).
