Description The carving in the chancel was designed by Charles Marcus Osborn, formerly in the employ of Ralph Adams Cram. While in Pittsburgh for the Heinz Chapel work he was also designing the chancel furniture for Shadyside Presbyterian Church's 1938 sanctuary remodeling. This is according to a letter in the Shadyside archives from a member who was a distant cousin. www.shadysidelantern.com/three_vined_mice.htm
